Mr. J. Marcos Pérez has been working as a project manager for TYPSA, TÉCNICA Y PROYECTOS S.A. since 2003. He holds a Bachelor´s degree in industrial chemistry from the university of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and a Masters degree in civil-environmental engineering from The City College of New York. In his 29 years of professional career in the field of water and wastewater treatment, has been involved in numerous projects in Spain and abroad, including water, wastewater and desalination plants design, facilities operation and management, storm water management, pilot plants and mathematical process modeling studies, hydrological planning and water and sanitation master plans.

Also, since 2004, he is the team leader for the contract: “Technical Assistance for the control of the operation and maintenance of the sewer systems and wastewater treatment plants of zone I (South, Guadalentín and North West) of the Murcia Region”. This is a contract of TYPSA with ESAMUR, Murcia Region Public Agency for Wastewater Treatment, and involves the control of the operation and maintenance of more than 50 wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations, with capacities ranging from 50,000 m3/d to 100 m3/d.
