Topalova, Yana, Ilieva, Professor, DSc, PhD Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Faculty of Biology is Professor, Dsc on Biological Control and Water Management and PhD on Microbiology. Her research areas are Microbiological, Enzymological and Molecular Control of Detoxification Processes, Water Treatment and Management, Bioaugmentation of the processes by means of molecular and nano-stimulators, Environmental Biotechnology.
She is lecturer on Biological control and water management, Bioremediation, Biological wastewater treatment, Biomanagement and sustainable development in Sofia University, lecturer on Water Management in France, Grenobel, Grenobel University 2011-2018. he has 166 scientific papers, 6 books, H index 9, 420 citations, more than 30 projects, 11 graduated PhD students, more than 120 MsD students, coordinator of Center of competence ”Clean technologies for sustainable environment – water, wastes, energy for circular economy” financed by OP “Science, education and smart development” of EU.
