Anna Stefani is an Italian biomedical engineer (MSc). She began her career working in sales and marketing of medical devices for diabetes and wound care and then as a clinical trainer for robotic surgery, supporting surgeons in operating rooms around the country for more than three years.
She then moved into project management roles now in digital health with Alira Heath to manage the development of engaging apps for real-world data collection in clinical trials and standard care.
Since 2019 Anna has been an ambassador for Wewomengineers (WWE), an Italian association promoting gender diversity in STEM and biomedical technology sectors. WWE is one of the HIMSS Italian Community partners.
