Mr. Olmstead is a pioneering business and marketing leader who has created and grown world-class brands for big and small companies. While at Genomind, a leading mental health genetics company, he transformed the brand’s value perception and reimbursement levels, increasing access to pharmacogenetics to millions more people and growing health plan covered-lives to over 100 million.
Prior to joining Genomind, Mr. Olmstead served as Chief Marketing Officer for First Quality Enterprises, a leading manufacturer of top healthcare and store brands in Adult Incontinence, Baby Care, and Premium Paper Towels and Bath Tissue where he helped create the marketing function and launch major new brands for the top retailers like Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, CVS, Walgreens Boots Alliance and Amazon. He was also Chief Marketing Officer and EVP Product Development for Crayola and helped accelerate physical-virtual color and creativity activities for children around the world. Prior to that he was an accomplished executive at Procter & Gamble for 15 years leading brands like Duracell, Oral-B, and the major Rx-to-OTC switch of Prilosec OTC. He served in the US Army for 5 years as a Combat Airborne Engineer Officer at Fort Bragg, NC and Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
