Benjamin Faist, MD is Chief Medical Officer and Head of international Business Development at Eurofins LifeCodexx in Germany. LifeCodexx is a genetic laboratory company specialized in NIPT diagnostics and belongs to the Eurofins Scientific SE group.
Benjamin is medical doctor by training and received his specialty in medical microbiology, virology and infectious epidemiology from the university hospital of the TU Munich (TUM). At TUM he received clinical training in hematology and oncology and focused his research on T cell immunology and the development of therapeutic T cell products against viral infections.
Prior to joining Eurofins Benjamin built the medical affairs department in central and east Europe for BioMérieux, a leading medical technology company for infectious diseases diagnostics. Before Benjamin worked as a strategy consultant for the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in the Munich office. At BCG he served clients in the pharmaceutical-, med tech and hospital sector and private equity funds in investment decisions.
