I have collaborated with researchers from different Universities and research centers around the world, which is reflected in more than 100 articles in SCI-SCOPUS journals. I am editor in JCR journals, such as Frontiers in Veterinary Science, Animals MDPI, and Archivos de Zootecnia. I have published two books and co-authored 25 book chapters, with national and international publishers. I have supervised 37 bachelor’s, 19 master’s and 13 doctoral theses.
My research line focuses on the evaluation of sustainable diets for animals, using local resources, evaluating the effect of antimicrobial resistance and its residues. Our group works on enteric methane mitigation strategies in ruminants, carbon footprint reduction, and the application of meta-analysis and mathematical models for a better understanding of animal production.
