Martin Pohle is an industry expert, consultant and manager in specialty logistics for Pharmaceutics, Semiconductor, Automotive and the Life Sciences. Since eight years he serves as Branch Manager and leads the Leipzig branch of World Courier, a specialty logistics company in the field of temperature-controlled biopharma logistics.
At World Courier Martin also led the Berlin branch of World Courier as a hub of clinical trial logistics and commercial distribution. Building a long-standing business relationship with companies such as Bayer and CROs such as PRA and Parexel, Martin headed a team of 25 associates. His CRO experience includes a Global Key Account Manager role for a leading CRO customer of World Courier and extensive experience setting up trials for ATMPs in Cell and Gene Therapy. In his current role he leads the Leipzig branch as well as the Dedicated Customer Service DCS, enabling customer to grow their logistics productivity.
Before joining World Courier, Martin served as COO at SET Technology, a medical technology and Life Science consulting firm, he co-founded in 2009. He was active in generating, developing and funding technology transfer opportunities in Biopharma and medical instrumentation across Germany. Until today he provides consulting advice and is an active speaker and lecturer for life-science-related topics.
