Atanas Matev is a Certified IT Architect. He has more than 5 years of experience in the design and delivery of healthcare-grade information technology systems. In addition, his professional interests and activities have been in the fields of transformation of business requirements into technology architectures and of hospital Information Systems (HIS, PACS, RIS, LIS, integration, analytics).
Mr. Matev took part in several significant healthcare IT projects. One of these projects was related with one of the largest hospital worldwide – Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (4 years), where he was responsible for architecture, design and implementation of various information technology systems and for integration of multiple healthcare systems and components (EMR, ORs, NurseCall, etc). In addition, he was Lead architect for IT infrastructure and integration with medical components and was responsible for development of full-scale conceptual architecture for IT and medical systems in a modern Bulgarian hospital – UniHospital in Panagyurishte (1 year).
