Simon Spichak is a neuroscientist that submitted his MSc at University College Cork, looking at the interactions between microbially-produced metabolites in the gut and the brain, and an author on several scientific papers in the field. He is also the 2020 FameLab Ireland champion and a science journalist with pieces published across Being Patient, BioSpace, Massive Science, RTE Brainstorm, Futurism.
He is currently the co-founder of a mental health startup in Canada called Resolvve that aims to provide integrated therapy solutions for high school and university students. In addition, he provides consulting and scientific writing services for several clients.
