Prof. Dr. Asen Dudov has two Master degrees in medicine and economics  with the specialty “Health Management” from UNWE, Sofia. He has  three fields of clinical specialisation: internal medicine (1998), oncology (2001) and clinical pharmacology (2004). His doctorate in 2003 was in the scientific specialty “Pharmacology”and in 2004 he was elected as Senior Research Fellow, Second Degree. He has a total of 31 years work experience in the specialty of medical oncology (chemotherapy). From 1989 – 2011 he went from the position of medical oncologist (chemotherapist) at the National Oncology Center – MA and Sofia Oncology Center, to director of the hospital and associate professor. From 2011 to 2015 he was Head of the Clinic of Medical Oncology, UMHAT “Queen Joanna – ISUL”. Elected as Professor in 2011. Since 2015 he has been the Medical Director and Head of  Clinic of Medical Oncology, Acibadem City Clinic, University Hospital Mladost. From 2007 to 2019 he was a national consultant in medical oncology. From 2016 to 2017 he was Chairman of the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Commission at the Ministry of Health. He is President of Bulgarian Cancer Scientific Society.
