Ivan Ivanov

Dr. Ivan Ivanov is a Clinical Professor at the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology at the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences and has joint appointments with the departments of Statistics, Electrical Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He received M.S. in Mathematics from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 1989 and Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of South Florida in 1999. He held postdoctoral mathematics positions at Syracuse University and Texas A&M University before transitioning to bioinformatics as a postdoctoral trainee in the Training Program in Bioinformatics, Texas A&M University. Dr. Ivanov’s research focuses on predictive computational modeling of complex systems for the purposes of intervention and control, high throughput omics data processing and integration, and genomic signal processing.
