Zoya Paunova

Zoya Paunova is the Honorary Consul General of the Kingdom of Sweden in Bulgaria She has a master’s degree in pharmacy from the Medical Academy in Sofia, with dedication and love for science and innovation, in the field of medicine and technology. With business education at INSEAD and specializations in the UK, Sweden and the US, with three decades of extensive professional experience in a leading bioscience pharmaceutical company. She is one of the founders of the Bulgarian Forum of Business Leaders, the Bulgarian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, the Council of Women in Business. She is a member of the Board of CWBB, SweCham, Teach for Bulgaria. Ms. Paunova is an active participant and partner in activities related to prevention and early diagnosis of socially significant diseases, education, preservation of the rich cultural and historical heritage, sustainable development.
