Yariv Brotman holds a MSc and Ph.D. degree from Bar-Ilan University, Israel, where he made research on the topic of map-based cloning of plant resistance genes in Melon, following by a Post-doc at the Weizmann Institute, studying the interactions between plants and beneficial microorganisms.
Previously, he worked at Max Panck institute for Molecular Plant Physiology where he carried out research on quantitative genetics of metabolic traits in viersue plant systems including major crops. He is currently a Researcher at Ben-Gurion University, Israel, working in the same field.
